I downloaded the song yesterday and put it on compulsive rotation on my iPod!
(I did a little write up about the song and the style here.)
The season opener is on September 10 in the U.S.
WTF? Space Channel in Canada isn't showing the debut until Sept. 16! So they're going to be almost a week behind? I may have to upgrade our cable package.
!!!
That does it, I'm moving to Buffalo.
Do you have CW in your cable bundle?
I may do. I do what my Tivo tells me to do.
Don't even joke about that sort of thing. Buffalo isn't a real place, it's a trap to kill hope.
Yeah, he could at least move here to Rochester. We're like the Paris of western NY.
Bump - premiere is next week.
Some glorious gore from past season for the hell of it.

In case you missed it on the S4 thread, CW has set up live streaming that appears to be accessible internationally:
I love you, Supernatural.
I missed that show so much!
Bobby was really un-Bobby-like in his comments to Sam, but I was still surprised that he'd been possessed by a demon. I guess he forgot to wear his talisman that day. I really like new Meg: love her accent! Hopefully, she'll return to that meatsuit and explain why she likes the name Meg so much.
Clearly, Sam's mission is to get back into everyone's good books, but I was a bit surprised that no one brought up the fact that Dean actually broke the first seal, then moped around while Sam was so frustrated about wanting to "do something" about Lilith that he took the path that was presented to him, to everyone's chagrin.
I loved Chuck: "That sucks ass." And I hope we get to see the Sam Girl again: Emily Perkins is a great actor, and it would be nice to see her add to the character.
Was it just me, or did the episode use a few different cinematography tricks? I thought the fight scene with Meg was quite different, and a few other scenes as well.
"Meg: love her accent! Hopefully, she'll return to that meatsuit and explain why she likes the name Meg so much."
The actress was Rachel Miner, who I quite like. SHe doesn't get enough big roles, but she's been awesome in everything I've ever seen her in.
There's something meta - awesome about Lucifer and Jacob being played by the same actor.
This was like a greatest hits of Supernatural - Bobby being awesome, commentary on slash fic, Dean calling someone a douche...all there.
There were at least two times where I was caught by surprise (demon Bobby, Dean blasting the angels) and pretty much everything was well done.
I was really impressed by that episode. I've not watched the show since the first season, but have read some of the threads here about it and generally had an understaning of how last season ended. Still, the season premiere did a fantastic job getting me up to speed immediately, and aside from not having Meg's backstory I felt like I understood all the nuances.
Plus, the fanfic character was AWESOME. A nod to that section of fandom done with both humor and affection? Nice!
I'm keen to see what the reaction is to clavicle girl. I could easily see some folks taking offence at being characterised as deluded obsessives, even though it was affectionately done (and they are deluded obsessives). So far, though, people seem to be taking it in the spirit in which it was intended.
As far as I can tell the people behind Supernatural, including the actors, seem to have a pretty good attitude about the slash fic fans, and vice versa. I'm sure somebody will be offended by Sam's Number One Fan, but the protrayal seemed more affectionate than anything - she did, after all, get to play a part in saving the world.
Incidentally, the actions of both the Demons and the Angels in this episode were pretty excellent - if they weren't able to find the brothers by supernatural means, they went straight to Captain Sensible plans.
Fandom likes her. When CW released the preview clip of Becky visiting the boys, the reaction was very positive. A lot of them liked the fact that she's a Sam Girl, because they thought Sam's characterization and/or storyline was mishandled last season.
Anyway, I see that CW has set up a LiveJournal profile and a fan transcribed the story she was working on. I'm a bit surprised they let that on air. It's one thing to allude to Wincest, another to provide a sample!
Has Bobby transformed from the anti-demon Batman to the anti-demon Oracle now?
This was like a greatest hits of Supernatural
We also got AC/DC, sad!Sam and a totally depressing episode. Huzzah, Supernatural is back!
Between this premiere and Sons of Anarchy, I am looking forward to this fall season.
God, it's been too long!
As already stated, absolutely everthing that makes SPN so loveable.
Hey, that was Emily Perkins! I couldn't place her, what with the lighter hair and the happiness and not turning into a werewolf.
Actually, Ginger Snaps Back is on right now. Huzzah.
Yeah! I was really excited to hear that she was going to be on the show, but I didn't realize how different her character would be from the things that I most associate her with: Ginger Snaps and a drug-addled street hooker/informant on Da Vinci's Inquest.
And this is why I need to pay more attention to domestic TV drama/comedy production news. Keeping track of the talent!
It's weird: U.S. television production in Canada is almost completely ignored by the Canadian media, even though those productions have technical crews that are almost 100% Canadian, guest casts that are disproportionatly Canadian, and, once in a while, main cast that include Canadians in key roles (like BSG).
