I think we can pretty much guarantee that the guy who asks "Who's Jack Bauer" will be one of the first to die from Bauer Day effects.

That line made me think of Ivanova's speech from Season 4 of Babylon 5.

Interesting how there's no mention of this being the final season, even though that seemed to be the conventional wisdom not too long ago.

Am I the only one secretly hoping Kim gets killed, for realz this time?

Oh I was referring to...shit I forgot her name I have been calling her Jackette for so long.  Anyway the Agent that was slowly turning to the bauer side.

Kim is protected by a gyypsy curse and can never be killed.  It's like th eMark of Cain.  If you try to kill her the dumb radiation will pour out and dozens will die around her.

24 season 8 strikes the same tone as Splinter Cell: Conviction, probably because they both feature ex-superhuman federal agents who are being brought out of retirement.

I will if Jack will demonstrate the proper Chokehold of Friendship technique to what I'm guessing is his granddaughter, thus making her the most popular girl on the playground.

I think she's safe. Surely, with a whole new staff of CTU cannon fodder, they won't be lacking for victims.

Speaking of which, I like how (I don't know if the actor's name is considered a spoiler or not, so I'll play it safe) was the one who gave the "Who's Jack Bauer?" guy an incredulous look, as opposed to being the guy who didn't know who Jack Bauer was. That casting is weird enough without the show going out of its way to make it even more irritating by having the character be a dope.

For the past couple, it's been a subplot. Now, it's Jack who's getting dragged back in just when he thought he was out.

I'm just hoping that the Supersoldier genes skip a generation, and that we get to see the kid perform a chestpunch-to-neckbreaker combo for maximum instadeath on some Kimnapper wannabe.
