The CAPTAIN ATOM of EARTH-EIGHT.

Hey Chris, PM me, and we'll sort out those Teen Titan comics. I even found a few earlier issues that I missed when I was putting them up.

Also, to anyone else, I've started putting a few Transformers and stuff up, if you're interested.

...In the spirit of which, and since there hasn't been a lot of cats in the VBay/cats thread:

LOLcats do not want Armada

Some great stuff there -- I already have it, but anyone interested should know that 35 bucks including shipping for that gorgeous Krigstein book is a frigging steal. Good luck with the auctions, Dan.

I think I've told you this story, but I got it for $12.50. My store was clearing out inventory for the new ownership and was selling all fanta books for 75% off.

Knowing how you feel about shit comic book stores, you wouldn't have wanted to be within five miles of this place. It's fine now, though.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to pick up on that. Still, the original cover price is 50 bucks and it's a great book!

I'd rather pay full price than encourage Dan in his nefarious money grubbing. It's for his own good.

I have a spot of eBay trouble.

I sold a stack of stuff a month ago including an internet router. It was posted exactly a month ago and now the buyer has got in touch tonight saying he hasn't received it. Now seeing so long a period has passed since dispatch without any contact, I've thrown out the tracking number. And this, of course, is what he is requesting.

So what now? I have sent something but I have no proof of doing so beyond my word. And he has said he hasn't received something, which he has no proof of beyond his word.

Anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice short of pistols at dawn?

If there is a tracking number, maybe the postal service or shipping company you used can look it up in their system? It might be worth a shot.

Did you pay by debit or credit card? If so, check with your bank to get the date and time you paid. Go to the Post Office with that info and the location you sent it from and maybe they can use that to find the tracking number.

I just sold a bunch of DVDs on eBay over the last week and noticed something really weird.

Every DVD I sold via BIN went to a man, every item that was actually bid on went to a woman.

Excluding one outlier, about $10 per. eBay's shitty policey on pricing for shipping on DVDs really eats into what you can get.
