Do we have a "Vote for my friend/acquaintance/companion/etc. in this internet contest" thread somewhere on the V? Seems like the sort of thing that could be handy if kept in a single thread. If not, I'm sure the mods will delete this forthwith.

Anyhow, my wife's friend is in some sort of thing that requires internet voting, and she's apparently quite excited for it. So if anyone with a little extra time could go vote for ADRIANNE here, it would be much appreciated.

I don't think we have an official thread, although one may have existed back on the V that existed in the Time Before Vhive, in the Long Ago.

Seems like a good enough thread to have around though, maybe a mod could slap in on the front page if the Administration wants to keep something like this going.

I've just noticed that it's a "vote once a day until 20 January" thing, and ... well, if people remember to vote more, that's fantastic, but I'll completely understand if they don't. It was very cool to watch the immediate results from posting the link here, though. That was genuinely impressive.

As far as the sausage thing goes, I can at least vouch that she worked for awhile at one of the better delis in Little Italy, so maybe she overdosed then or something. I dunno. She likes cryptozoology....

Not only is she cute, not only do her photos most accurately (and cleverly) capture the true spirit of the '50s-'60s pinups, she's the one who doesn't present the attitude of an intolerable weiner.
