No, but she became a gay super-hero. It's important that anything she identifies with be preceded by gay as far as her being a gay person.

New issue looks to be pulling in stuff from all over the mythology. The role-playing game material from Mayfair(Darius Wayne of the 1770's), Barbatos("Dark Knight, Dark City"), the Miagani(from Deacon Blackfire's backstory in _The Cult), "The Black Glove", the succession of the Waynes as set up in _Batman Secret Files_ text features...

I was wondering if that stuff was Morrison's creation or actual Batman history. Should have known.

The new issue is genuinely very good. If anybody was a bit concerned about BATMAN & ROBIN being shit, the new issue is where you should start. It's building up for the RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE and the mysteries are a-flowing.

It was almost quite sweet at the end of the current issue when Damian was a bit sad that he'd no longer be working with Dick when Bruce comes back.

Yeah. The linkage of Barbatos to the Miagani is new, but almost all of the plot points and people referenced have seen print in DC-published or licensed product at some point or other.

And yeah...poor Damian. Getting burned at both ends, isn't he?

I thought Dick was being a dick to Damien when discussing what would happen to the kid when Bruce comes back.

That said, can someone spell out the logic behind the whole "order of the paintings of Bruce's past relatives is the map for his return" thing? Besides being forshadowing for his time travel plot device return?
