The baby boy's mother was on Ontario Today telling the tale of how her son landed the gig. Which was amusing. Particularly the part about the family's trip to Florida and the fanboy/fangirl reaction of the airport security staff to learning of the child's presence!

Chris Brown asks fans to help him beat radio

"The same day he returned to Twitter, Brown left a message on one-to-many voice-messaging service SayNow, basically begging his fans to show their support. He began with, "Hey what's up, y'all -- CB. Um, I ain't never really did this, but right now I'm just calling y'all -- I need all of my fans' help. ... It's crazy because a lot of radio stations ... aren't playing my records. They're not being that supportive, and I wouldn't expect them to. But it's on the fans and on what you guys do in your power to bring me back because that's all I need." Sounding every bit the marketer, Brown went on to say that he needs fans to help make him "relevant on the radio" again."

I say he can make it all go away if he submits to letting a victim of domestic violence punch him in the face for every punch he gave Rhiana. Then we can talk.

Maybe he can work out a deal with radio stations so he get's punched/nutkicked/bitch-slapped for everyone of his songs that get air play.

You know, they still play Mystikal and Funkmaster Flex gets paid to work, too.

Is the Chris Brown thing because he beat up a pretty girl everyone knows?

That she's pretty is slightly less important than the fact that everyone knows who she is. Charlie Sheen smacks his wife around, but she doesn't have any hit records, so his shitcom will still be #1. But I hear Rhianna every time I go to the gym, so Chris Brown must BURN!!!

Note: I think Charlie Sheen should get the same treatment as Chris Brown, not the other way around.

He sees some big conspiracy, I think it's just that his last album wasn't very good and got no traction on the radio.

Of course he does. But I'm also sure he's banking on short memories when he starts showing up on a billion guest spots, and fact is if he lands one the tweenage girls want to sing in the bathroom all the time he's right. "Drop It Low" is halfway there.

I'm saying there are dudes who have done equally fucked up things to women specifically and get way less flak.

Fuck, Roman Polanski did worse and has famous people the world over defending him. This is some shit that falls squarely in Michael Jackson Compromise territory in my opinion.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!

Michael jackson was acquitted on one charge and current evidence points toward that guy really was just taking advantage of MJ in the first case. Slow yourr roll.

R Kelly on the other hand...

Yes it been cleared up now but Michael Jackson did take a blow to his career when all that happened that pretty much lasted until he died.  He's been cleared of all charges and people still bring it up.

But you are right about R. Kelly, I don't think his career slowed down much even though there is a video of him pissing on an underage girl.  He kept getting a lot of air play when that was made known (and still gets a lot as well as producing a lot of stuff for other artist)

There is also Rebecca Gayheart.

She just had a child.  I wonder if she wakes up at night after nightmares of running her own child over and laughing it off.

So, I guess we're not talking about Tiki Barber dumping his pregnant with twins at eight months wife for a 23-years-old blonde former NBC intern?

You have to feel for Ronde. Someone's going to mistake him for Tiki, and he's going to catch the shit for his brother's thinking with his dick.

This has to end his career at NBC. ESPN fired Steve Phillips for pretty much the exact same thing, and they're not nearly as concerned with not offending Midwestern housewives as THE TODAY SHOW is.

Considering that he left football because he wanted to be the next Matt Lauer, I wonder where this leaves him. He's probably too old and out of shape to make an NFL comeback, but I'm sure the UFL would love to have him.

Did I forget to post that Xander from Buffy got arrested?  Including having to be tasered twice?

I am hoping for the twist where you find out it is his twin brother.

That Kelly is a devious one.

I didn't know about that til now, nor did I know Nicholas entered alcohol rehab in 2004.  Apparently it didn't take since now he's drunkenly punching cops.

Is it wrong that I want to start a new category on Wikipedia called something like, "Men who left their wives for someone younger with whom they'd had a long-term affair"?

Not quite CelebriDirt yet, but something to look out for:

Rufus Wainwright on 50 Cent: "I think he's just the sexiest, and a brilliant writer. And I know he's gay...That cute little voice of his. It's okay, 50 Cent. Feel free to call me anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts. You can come over for dinner. And maybe dessert.”

I love this. I hope it blows up into a full out feud.

Steven Seagal is being sued for allegedly keeping sex slaves.

http://movies.msn.com/the-wrap/steve-seagal-sued/story/?GT1=28101

"Nguyen's lawsuit said she could identify a 'unique physiological reaction' that Seagal has to sexual arousal, which could be corroborated by the other 'attendants.' The suit did not specify what that reaction is."
