I'm shooting a comedic web thing in a few weeks - May 3rd & then again May 17 - and I need classic 70s and 80s toys as props.

Boy's stuff, really. Action figures, GI Joes, Transformers, and of course Star Wars crap. Doesn't have to be anything specific. If anyone has this kind of stuff (and let's face it, I have reason to suspect that many of you do) I'd be eternally grateful if I could borrow some of it on the shoot dates.

Now, were you to allow me to use your valuable stuff, I'd certainly understand if you'd want to be on set to make sure they're safe and well cared for. Just bring a book, because it's entirely boring.

I looked in the boxes labeled "Toys," but no toys were found. I suspect that my younger brother may have taken them, but it definitely means that I have no idea where mine are. Sorry.

The real, and incredibly sad, problem is that all of my toys are new, and definitely not vintage.

The closest thing I have is the Superman you gave me for my birthday a few years back, that used the same molds as the old Superpowers fig. I have no oldschool joes or transformers.

I am totally willing to loan you the Superman though, if I see you this weekend.

Okay, so one of the tropes in the series I'm shooting is that there's a STAR TREK reference in each episode. Yeah, I know, but I still got laid in high school, so there ya go.

Anyway, I'll be shooting some footage the 22nd of this month, and I'd like to have a Star Trek drinking glass be included in the scene. Do any of you have one I could borrow for a few hours?

I have all the ones from the most recent movie, but none of the old stuff.  You're welcome to borrow one or more, if you like.

I think I have a metal travel coffee mug with the symbol of the klingon empire on it.  Unless I threw it out, because the rubber seal in the lid was either not set or designed properly and it started smelling funky after only about 2 months of use.

Unfortunately I'm leaving for vacation on Friday so your only chance if you want it is to get it from me tomorrow somehow.  If I still have it.

I certainly appreciate it, but I'm less likely to break Ted's metal cup than one made of glass, so I'll go that route.

So I ended up with some game consoles that I don't need, and they're taking up space in my already filled apartment. I have a Nintendo Gamecube with one controller, as well as a PS1 with one controller. If anyone wants to swing by my midtown pad, they're free for the taking.

Incidentally, I'm also selling some musical instruments - an electric guitar and 2 electric bass guitars, if anyone's interested in that.

I need help!

I'm working on a project, and what I need to do is scan a boatload of photographs and turn 'em into jpgs. Seems like Kinko's charges ten bucks PER SCAN, which I am unwilling to pay. Does anyone have (or have access to) a scanner I could stand before for an hour or so?

I'd estimate there might be upwards of 100 photos to scan, so I figure it might take a while. Probably not the best idea to sneak me into an office.

I think that the copier that Tasha has also has a scanner bed. I can check when I get home.

I need an Aquaman costume. Not as easy to find as I thought. Anyone here have a lead on such a thing? I can BARELY afford to have it custom-made, if it were, like, someone with a sewing machine in their living room.

For whatever reason, the Aquaman hoodie seems to be the only thing available.

I thought that I saw an Aquaman costume at Party City and at the costume shop between Union Square and Astor Place on Broadway, but that was around Halloween.

Any of you male types interested in playing a small part on my show? Probably a half hour or less of shooting. Like, eight lines of dialogue. Not a big part, but still. You don't need to be Sean Penn to pull it off, certainly. But it may be fun if you like acting. Shoot date is Sunday, May 23. Probably from 4PM til 4:30 or so, in Astoria near the N line.
