Is it just me or does all the cool stuff come out on the system or network you don't have? I like the BlackBerry storm that they are advertising but it's on Verizon and I'm on ATT&T. I love the way the DC Universe vs Mortal Combat game looks but it's on PS3 and I have the Wii system.  It's really not worth switching for that one game or one phone.

Is there no end to this madness? Just put the stuff out on all networks and all systems. I think you'd make more money.

System/netowrk exclusives typically involve massive upfront payments. Games seem to be going towards multi-platform for the simple reason of recovering development coss that single platform exclusivity won't cover. Cellphones are a bit harder, since most people won't pay the full unusubsidized price on an unlocked unit.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC is available on both the PS3 and 360, but the PS3 is getting DCU Online exclusively, so you might want to start saving your pennies.
