JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #27

Written by Dwayne McDuffie
Art and cover by Ed Benes
A “Sightings” tale! Doctor Light is missing, and her former Justice League teammates intend to find the man responsible and make him pay. But before they do that, they'll have to get past his Shadow Cabinet of powerful superbeings who have sworn to "Save humanity from itself." Milestone Comics characters Icon and Hardware make their first modern DCU appearance, but this time it’s not clear whose side they’re on!

Dharma kidnapped Dr. Light?!

Shadow Cabinet vs. Justice League?!!!!

This is only a couple of months away??!!!!!!!!

Sorry, this is just pretty exciting. And the 'Sightings' thing makes it a Final Crisis-related book, doesn't it (like with the Libra and Human Flame story)?

Sightings doesn't have to do with Final Crisis, so much as what Didio called a "roadmap" to the big goings-on of the DCU.

Pretty much my understanding as well. It's meant as a "look over here! Big Stuff Going Down right here!"

This...should be fun.

As to the blurb...one is never entirely sure where Curtis Metcalfe's concerned to begin with. Situation normal there, if my memory is anything to go by.

Icon(Augustus)...? If Dharma can talk him into anything even remotely sketchy...it would take a lot of careful argument and planning. But Dharma's known for that, already...

Should be fun. *awaits with some sense of glee...*

Thanks for setting me straight. Good that DC give it the suitable high-profile label.

WOOHOO!!!!

(This user dusts off his plans for a Icon costume)

I had been considering an Icon costume for a few years now, but didn't want to spend 20 minutes explaining who he is at every house I stopped by at Halloween.  (Calling him merely "A Black Superman" didn't do him justice, IMHO).
