Hmm, that's weird that you've just started having problems crop up, then. All I know is that no one knows for sure what the problem is, but it only seems to affect 10.5.6, but it's not widespread enough that Apple's acknowledged it as a known problem. I recommend submitting feedback to Apple to let them know what's going on.
